Associate Attorney
We are looking for an outstanding, energetic, and versatile attorney to join our litigation boutique. You will participate in all aspects of our diverse litigation practice, ranging from white collar criminal defense and investigation to defensive and plaintiff-oriented civil litigation. A competitive candidate will have:
- Strong academic credentials
- At least two years of high-quality litigation experience (inclusive of clerkships)
- Demonstrated excellence in legal writing
- Knowledge of and/or deep interest in legal issues relating to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
- An entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude
- Outstanding references (to be contacted only with permission in final stages of process)
Paralegal / Office Manager
We are looking to hire our first non-lawyer to serve as both a paralegal and an office manager. Prior experience is not necessary if you are highly motivated and willing to learn. Tasks will run the gamut from paralegal support on any of our cases that need such support to helping run and manage our new firm. Paralegal responsibilities will involve fact research and analysis, support in all stages of litigation through trial, and some client intake and communications. Office management responsibilities include support in billing, webpage updates, social media, and liaising with our IT, accounting and vendors. A competitive candidate will have:
- Strong academic credentials
- Some experience in office management/paralegal work or strong enthusiasm for learning
- Comfort with technology such that you can easily learn new software
- Social media savvy
- Knowledge and/or interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
- A can-do attitude and desire to work in a start-up environment where flexibility and adaptability to changing needs are key.
